Your reference to Momo Iizawa brought a smile and some fond memories. There's a difference for me between "extreme" and disgusting or degrading. I have been reading all the comments and I too am on board with what is happening to this Genre. I love the old stuff for sure and some ( not a lot sadly) of the new stuff is likable. It used to be that you could follow a particular director ( Kirin for example) and know what to expect. This too is changing.
