Post some anime(s) that were inspired by popular games.

    Anyone remember the Wizardry series?
    Wizardry 2. Wizardry 1.

Here's an anime based on them.

It is often the other way around (visual novels and dating sims mostly) but there are still plenty of examples to choose from. Naruto spawned its' fair share so did Yu-Gi-Oh. I come across them on occasion when I research the anime before I post them in the anime torrent thread. I will try to remember to add them to this thread (but I am not going back over the ones I have posted, too many).

Never saw the Wizardry series before, thx.

    Totally early 90's fare.

Dragon Quest. The first one is Yusha Abel Densetsu. The second one, Dai no Daibouken, started as a manga in Weekly Shonen Jump.

Fate Stay Night and Steins Gate are probably better known recent anime that started as games.

Seems the animation style for Dragon Quest is very similar to Dragon Ball Z.
