This is based on the novel “The story of Ito” by Yakumo Koizumi. Ito, who was a samurai in the original novel, is a college professor in country side. Ito is torn between a beautiful assistant and a beautiful elf who has lived in the city with a thousand year karma. The film depicts the tragic love of Ito who is attracted by the elf and ruins himself.
