That is a bit of a wait. It is an anti-spam measure, perhaps not the best one but the spam has decreased so it would seem to be effective. I am sure it is also cutting down somewhat on banned and suspended posters from immediately jumping back into Akiba-Online to break the same rules over and over again. Sorry you got caught in the crossfire and welcome to AO.
