Thanks Chompy; no doubt the Japanese-speaking and reading members of Akiba-Online may find this "Sticky" helpful, but since the forum appears to cater mainly to English-speakers, it may be a good idea to edit your title to read: "Commonly Asked Girls' Names in JAPANESE." That may save the brunt of the less linguistically capable membership from a needless click.

It's possible I wrote too soon. I clicked on this post just now, and noticed while the conversation is in English, the actresses' names are provided in Japanese. (And the one who asked for the I.D. help is fully cool about it.) Maybe it's expected in these parts to have a grasp on both languages, and I could be the odd man out.

Member Dak999 provided a huge service with his transcribing... albeit his list was incomplete, as there was a lot up there.

Unfortunately, since the Akiba-Online overhaul where all in-house attachments took a powder, the relevance of this thread has taken a nosedive; the idea was naturally to see whether one's mystery girl would have matched a picture (primarily for the Japanese reader's benefit, before Dak999 came along).

A mod revealed elsewhere that all old attachments are retrievable by those in the inside track, which makes sense. 'Course, someone would need to take the trouble of going into the secret stash to fetch and insert here anew.
