It is a matter of rights. Those retailers probably are not allowed to sell copies of the products overseas.

that could be but the reality is that the JAV studios are getting r***ing by a ton of paysites like JNetwork and ActionJAV who have no rights at all - not to mention forums like this where we all get their movies for nothing.

Anyway, i did manage to join XCity - too bad that Laura Angel movie is so old, 1999, they only have small preview clips of the older movies. I have no clue what I'm being charged to d/l anything in there. The membership fee is about 30 USD but it's not clear whether the Video on Demand is extra. Also the Video on Demand Windows Media videos - DRM protected.

here's the small mpeg clip of Laura Angel - she's grinding away like a buzzsaw, looks like a hot scene, too bad there's only a minute at most of it.

The difference is that the xcity site is located in Japan while the other sites you mentioned are not. I don't think those JAV studios have the means to pursue legal actions against overseas operators.

Anyway, how did you manage to join? Proxy?
