My two cents:
I also noticed the JAV AMWF productions totally lacked of their performer´s quality.
1. very poor english language skill
2. a dumb sense of humour (although Iam asian guy either, I could not understand it)

I think Kenny and Hunglo are much much better

You must be Hunglo's mother, because that guy sucks.
He has the screen presence of a bag of dirty laundry.

Tomohiro Abe is one of the top male actors in JAV (he doesn't just work in the USA).

it doesnt matter Hung Lo speaks english very fluently and understood how to react with the gals,...Tomo ´s sense of humour is dumb !

I'm not a fan of Tomo's work anymore; I pass over downloads with him. He's the Ron Jeremy of JAV. I prefer the younger, buff guys who give an athletic performance and the English speaking guys who are like that (Keni, Hung Lo and Jason Katana); give me a sense they are actually turning the women on!

Dango is in the middle for me, for appeal. He does rise to the occasion with a hot white female. He's like the Jonathan Morgan of the JAV industry.

yeah I totally agree with you Kusanagi. I used to pounce on any AMWF movie there was, even with Tomo, but now I just pass all his movies over. He's just...boring to watch. He says the same dumb american expressions, same positions, and makes the same damn faces and noises. Definitely the Ron Jeremy of AMWF.

Dango is a third-rater in Japan, whereas Tomohiro Abe is regarded as a top-tier male actor who actually acts and plays a wide variety of characters from salarymen to teachers to gangsters to cops. He only plays comedian when working with US actresses because slapping them around and fake-raping them the way he does Japanese actresses would get him thrown out of the US.

Jason Katana is only good for one thing -- getting kicked in the nuts.

Keni Styles is British and Hunglo is American -- they're supposed to speak fluent English! Tomohiro Abe is a Japanese guy from Japan so his work is more authentically ASIAN in character. How many American pornstars spend 20 minutes of a scene going after a chick using toys? ZERO! That's why chicks like Bree Olson, Jenna Presley and Lexi Belle keep going back for more. It's NOT THE SAME AS THE AMERICAN stuff, but just as fun. I asked Lexi Belle on Streamate.com show about Tomohiro Abe and she said he was one of her favorite all-time partners (he can make her squirt). I asked her about Hunglo and she was like, "Who's that? Oh, but he's American, so it's like working with any American guy."

Oh, and I think Dango was OK, and I especially liked his scene with Cytherea.
When I wrote to her about that scene her response was that she had no memory of that scene at all -- none.

Did it occur to you that Tomohiro Abe uses those expressions because those are the ones the actresses will universally understand?

He asks the same questions because experience has taught him that
01) all the actresses understand him when he's saying these questions
02) the Japanese audience does NOT really give a shit, it's about making the actress comfortable with the scene
03) the gimmick is simple enough to allow most actresses to play along and improvise answers keeping in line with the gimmick
