while it is said that casting couch is often to be happened in south korea entertainment industry, i wonder about casting couch phenomenon in japan.

casting couch is where a celebrity or artist give sexual service in exchange for promotion or position in entertainment industry.
for example an actress or female singer give give sexual service with her manager or the higher ups in her label company to be promoted for a movie or her music release.

so anyone know something about casting couch in japan entertainment industry ?

the last akb member who went to jav was told to have casting couch. but how about other celebrities ? especially the one that are not in idol industry ?

it just akb48 and sister bands use a school uniform as their stable dress that things like this are said. Simply said the top girls have pretty much a 24 hour watch on them by trash mags and the like, waiting for a hopeful scandel, that makes it pretty much impossible for them to have sex with anyone. The only girls that get the tv and press coverage are the top seven girls from the yearly 'elections' then add in the ones the franchise are pushing that may not have got the needed votes, to those, the rest have do with whatever promotion the agency they maybe be signed with can drum up for them. This pretty much allows the AKB agency the freedom to do whatever they want in regard to team lineup and the like, with no worries about broken contrats as the girls as said are not signed with AKB as such but by thier own companties.
