May I suggest a method for you to reduce possible error from Hotfile?
As you know Hotfile is unable to detect incomplete upload error and still give it a link. But since you have both Rapidshare and Hotfile account. Why not upload your files to your Rapidshare account first which they do guard against double byte error and will not allow link to be created unless the file is complete. Then you can "remote copy" your Rapidshare links to Hotfile.

Maybe you can consider back to use winrar to split the files? At least we can tell which one is bad when unzip those, so that you don't have to re-upload the entire file again.
