Code:
someone begin to add new smiles again...

this time, are using letters, like "one" without ":"

I already spoke before: is a BAD IDEA to add smiles using
 just letters or numbers.

You need to use ":one:" and not just "one".

you need to use some symbol like ":" or maybe "{}" ...

If you use just words without use any symbol, every time
that someone write the word, the smile will show...

and "one" is a very common word...

This is really a very bad idea...

but, like always, nobody pay attention in my words...

maybe, a new "downtime" is coming again...

see a example:

attachment.php

Code:
If I write the word "abandoned" the "one" become a smile.

see:

abandoned

I wouldn't worry about that.
We've figured out what caused the corruption last time, so that won't happen again.

Thanks for bringing this to attention in such detail. When you said previously that it was smilies that caused the forum to crash (actually caused the php to overload and send the mysql into an infinite loop and crash horribly) I couldn't think how.

Thanks for explaining it in a way that makes sense. We can avoid this in future. And for the record, if the forum crashes again (which won't happen) it can be restored with attachments COMPLETELY intact, because I'm using another (working) method of backing up the forum now.

btw, issue resolved.
