Synopsis
Aoshima Shunsaku (Oda Yuji), who has been promoted to head the Violent Crimes Unit of Wangan Police Precinct’s Criminal Affairs Division, holds a traffic safety workshop with the members of his unit: Waku Shinjiro (Ito Atsushi), Shinohara Natsumi (Uchida Yuki), Ogata Kaoru (Komoto Masahiro), Kuriyama Koji (Kawano Naoki) and Wang Ming Cai (Takito Kenichi). It is no different from any other day. In the midst of this, Mashita Masayoshi (Santamaria Yusuke) who has become the chief of the precinct announces Detective Wang’s nuptials. Detective Wang has been assigned to Wangan Police Precinct for training as part of an international exchange with the Chinese police. Naturally the Tokyo Metropolitan Police’s Deputy Director General Muroi Shinji (Yanagiba Toshiro), and high-level Chinese officials will attend too. With its outward-looking nature, the ceremony becomes a Wangan Police Precinct event. Much to the unease of Mashita, Aoshima is a candidate to organise the event. Aoshima reports the progress of the meticulous preparations of not only the Violent Crimes Unit but also the Police Affairs, Traffic, Community Safety, Community Police Affairs Divisions. However, Mashita and the former police precinct chief Kanda Soichiro (Kitamura Soichiro) wage a factional feud over who is to be the go-between and Wangan Police Precinct turns into a scene of feverish activity over the programme for the ceremony.
