A piece on Aya and her family's extreme poverty was picked up by Gnunosy today, so her profile probably took a big bump. She, her mother, her younger brother, and her younger sister all live in a room that is just 7.5 square meters in size. Her mother applied for welfare but was denied, and until recently they were living entirely on her mother's unemployment benefits. At 17, she is probably the primary breadwinner in her home.

I'm pretty sure you can buy her DVDs through Neowing, which I assume still ships overseas.

I wish her well. She seems like a sweet kid. I'm tempted to buy her DVDs for the sole purpose of helping her out (I'm not that much into her as a gravure model), but money is tight and I don't think my wife would understand. LOL
