again....

it works.
i tested my own video and i re-re-re-re-downloaded the first chunk...it's working even without merging it

every time i see a "not working" report my heart miss a beat, but this time it seems ok

Not working for me, I used HJ to join. Tried playing it in GOM and WM Player but it would not work. Thank you for the fantastic post, I would have loved to have seen this one.

i'm really sorry about it, but if the file is ok i can only think of a problem on your side :(

before give up, please try using Media Player Classic (you can find it in any decent codec pack), or VLC (which is famous for playing ANY kind of file)

other than that... i don't know, sorry again

I'm pretty sure the video is fine (it worked for me but without sound) but it maybe your players are refusing to play it because you don't have the correct audio codec.. I find it happens with WMP11.

You need to find and download the OGG Vorbis 3 Plus audio codec. Installed it and worked like a charm.
I'm pretty sure the zip file is safe as that is the one I am using.

Try download Media Player Classic as well.
