About Nyo In

Is there a hardcore fan of Green Bunny? If so, I'd like to discuss whatever it's known about the OVA Nyo In.

I've done a little research regarding the elusive Nyo In (女淫道中) and with the available information, I'm led to believe that it's existance in the AniDB and in Amazon is merely a mistake.

As I understand it, Nyo In was announced with two episodes, but no release date was ever given, except for the scheduled release (2003-03-28) in Amazon. There seems to another Green Bunny release which has striking similarities. This OVA is Youkou no Ken (妖香の剣) which also has two episodes and the same theme:

Also, there is a very strange thing in the Nyo In Amazon entry: there is not even a single re-seller of this OVA.

On the contrary, both DVDs of Youkou no Ken have several re-sellers:

Another thing. There is no full cover of Nyo In, only what seems to be pre-release art. On the contrary, the DVD covers of Youkou no Ken are quite easy to find. When comparing that pre-release art with the first DVD jacket, it's easy to see how similar they are.





So, while we still need some more solid proofs, it seems that Nyo In is actually Youkou no Ken. The Amazon entry seems to be only a pre-release entry which was never updated. I do not know the full story of Green Bunny, but it seems it had some troubles some time ago. That might be the cause of that Amazon entry.

Perhaps a fan of the Green Bunny releases might be able to fully clarify this matter about Nyo In/Youkou no Ken.

So you mean that Nyo In is equal Samurai XXX. Reviewing the cover of the 1st episode of Samurai XXX both indeed look familiar / similar.

Not only that Nyo In for ex in Getchu never got a release date there is not even a cover of it anywhere to be found. If it had really been released some sites should have released a cover though, but they did not.

edit: I took a closer look at both cover of Samurai XXX 1 and Nyi In cover sketch now, I just picked a short part of both to compare, please make your own judgement...

My judgement stands already, I´m gonna drop my search for Nyo In at once, erased from my list, 2nd name copied into Samurai xxx directory...

edit once again: the Japanese title of Nyo In should mean something like "vivid woman road", even this may fit quite well for Samurai XXX...

Yep, that's exactly what I suspect. In other words, those requesting or searching for Nyo In won't find anything, because it doesn't exist. At least that's what the evidence shows.

Nyo In = Youkou no Ken = Samurai XXX (us release)

Another proof of the no existence of Nyo in is that there is no trace of a single Yahoo Auction. Even the oldest of OVA has had at least one auction there.

Since I'm not versed in Green Bunny, I cannot be 100% sure of this (I'd say I'm 99%), but with the help of a fan of Green Bunny we could be able to confirm this without a shed of doubt.

That means two less on the list this week, Star Tanjou and Nyo In, we did not find anything, but solved the cases...

Hey, we were quite busy this week, and solved some cases though. This was the 1st week where there was far more traffic on hentai old than on new ones...
