林红娘（蔡佩璇饰）， 29岁， 一直单身也从未谈过半次恋爱的女生， 担任老师多年终被委派回到家乡的巴西不南邦小学执教鞭。 自9岁后便随着姨婆移居到吉隆坡生活的她， 对家乡异常陌生， 但基于工作缘故， 唯有硬着头皮寄住在姐姐林梅娇（程珈琪饰）及姐夫金鸿富（叶剑锋饰）之家， 但心里却一直渴望能尽快回到城市谈恋爱兼嫁人。 红娘回到家乡的第一天， 便被烧肉香味吸引而认识村内有名的烧肉老板兼色魔～阿甘（辛伟廉饰）。 在乡下八姑从中作梗之下， 得知他曾对初恋情人梦华（王淑君饰）不轨而导致她含泪离开巴西不南邦村，让红对阿甘留下极差的印象。 红娘回到家中， 发现一切依旧， 唯在墙上看到当时六个小孩在月老庙内的合照时， 突然回想起当年在庙内所发下的毒誓， 觉得不堪回首， 但乐观的红娘对毒誓一笑置之， 完全不把咒语放在心上...
