Plot: Shot entirely in the exotic Saipan Island, Eyescream Fiesta features the fatally sexy seductress in various alluring outfits, postures, and close-ups, coupled with the suggestive placement of everyday items like toothpaste and ice-cream, the latter of which being the likely inspiration behind the title of this making-of documentary.
Chau emigrated from Chaozhou to Hong Kong with her family when she was 10. She says that she worked in a fast-food restaurant when she was 15, and then as a shop assistant in Causeway Bay earning HK$3,000 a month. Chau is arguably Hong Kong's most famous lang mo, started pseudo modeling after she won 1st runner-up title as the 2002 Comics Festival 'Game Girl'. She came to prominence as the poster-girl for Slim Beauty slimming boutique. During the shooting of a TV commercial for the boutique, Chau ripped off her clothes whilst crossing the road in central business district to reveal a bikini underneath. In 2009 she released a limited edition life-sized bolster with her likeness– dressed in lingerie– printed on the cover, at HK$560 apiece.
After being cast in her first starring role in the Hong Kong movie Beach Spike in 2011, Chau was hired by La Miu, a Beijing-based lingerie company, as a spokesperson with a reported 7-digit [US$] contract.
