i'm a big fan of lesbian jav movies, actually i only watch lez and idol stuff, and i'm wondering how large the lesbian scene is in japan. is there a source for informations about new releases or something like that?

you know, it's pretty hard to find this sort of stuff if you don't speak japanese and here on akiba which is probably the biggest source for jav on the web (at least that's what i think) it's also hard to find lesbian movies. i know slimedog's thread for lesbian movies, but that's it.

or is it simply that lesbian movies are not very popular in japan?

There's so much stuff out there, once you get started, but here's a few things to help out.

List of JAV studios

Lesbian in Japanese: レズ

When browsing Japanese sites, remember that the "enter" button is on the left, then search for レズ

You can check DMM and javparadise for a list of titles.
