Since it was a japanese game with english patch. You need to change the unicode to japanese. start > control panel > language and regional setting > advanced > (change to japanese) > restart PC

It's pre-patched. Download > extract > run installer.exe > apply eng patch > play the game. I tried it too. I guess the files been deleted. It happen to me sometimes as well when my file in MU archive got deleted.
