This has stopped working. The only advice I've seens is to only use ffmpeg-python, but that doesn't seem to fix it.

The colab seems to always re-encode the audio. Is there some format (maybe FFMPEG command line arguments?) where it will skip that step? Is there some kind of pre-processing (volume, compression etc.) that can be done in FFMPEG that gives better results, or is the original file always the best?

Can you send the URL of the service where you can do long subs online? Also, Whisper.cpp gives an error message if you give it non 16kHz audio, but maybe the Python version is different?

Thanks. The archive seems to be missing some subs. First I checked was the MIGD subs, and only one of the three was in the archive.

This is for doing the Whisper part yourself, since online doesn't work anywhere for long audio, and barely works for short audio. And Whisper only accepts 16kHz, so just copying the audio won't work.
