In my test I get an error message that google couldn't scan the zip but I downloaded anyway because I know that it is fine since I made it. In any case this is Part A of the revised .srt files. My renaming convention is not perfect but I've re-named all of the files to be almost, but not quite entirely, just the code name of the video. I can't get it perfect because to batch rename I have to set a number of characters to delete the rest, so, "ABC-123 Big yappy dog in the yard with a bowl of stew" becomes "ABC-123" The problem is that if I set my renamer to remove everything after the 7th character then anything with a long code name like, "AGEMIX-123" becomes, "AGEMIX-" so that's no good. Whisper AI fails to encode some files with long names or odd characters or for some other reason that I can't figure out. If you shorten the filename, ta-da, works like a dream. I tried using Powertoys renaming feature to remove all odd characters but that didn't solve the problem, SO This is what ya get. To accomodate for the variance in file name I have given the perameters a wide berth so, back to the dog title, it may now have become, "ABC-123 Big" I'm going through all of this description because the next 25 Thousand srt files will be named this way, if you don't like it, don't download it. Which brings me to a new topic. To accomodate a few people who have asked for an alternative download location I am testing this option out. There are no Cover images so the filesize should be managable. This one, the A's is about 10 Meg. Please would a couple of you let me know if you were able to download these successfully. I have a program that scan the folder, find possible movie information on internet and export to an HTML file with title and image. I will try with your folder in a few days. Currently I'm busy with some improvement.

Hiya Theydon... that looks like an interesting program. I will look at your html file some more. I don't think that it would solve my naming issue but this looks like it may have other uses. You may want to point this to Tmpguy, who developed Javluv (do you know about JAVLUV?, if not, you need to get it) Search for Tmpguy on AKIBA-online and at the bottom of his posts is a link to javluv. Definitely check that out. That said, the movie information is very interesting. Thanks for sending this. Cheers.
 
Don't you love it when you are finished translating scene 1 and 2 starting on scene 3 and you the only thing you can hear is a running shower and no dialogue.

There are a Million little complications with Whisper. My .bat and .py files scan a video first with Vad-True/Large-v3 and all kinds of tweaks to VAD filters but at some point the intent to catch whispered dialog gives you Hallucination. Carrying on, if VAD-True yields a .srt less that 10K, then it doubles back and re-scans the file with VAD-False and Large-V3. It is working reasonably well but there's always little issues that pop up here and there. I don't think that you can get perfect unless you manually edit and you have to know Japanese to do that. I hope that my files will be 'good enough' for most people but they will never be perfect.. Cheers/

mdx_kim2 could help with that, it's a better voice extraction method than what faster-whisper uses (which is HT demucs I think ?). I use whisperXXL
 
I usually start with a transcribe fromWhisperJav and then go through every line manually to see if the dialogue has been cut in a weird way or whisper didn't pick up the first/last few words. Using Whisper XXL in Subtitle Edit or i extract the line as wav and let it go through OpenL/Anime whisper demo ( Anime whisper demo can only be used on lines under 15 sec i think )
I don't speak/read japanese but i listen to the dialogue and check the reading box in google translate.

usually i manage to find the right word that whisper coudn't and insert it into the line to get the full context what's being said.
I save the more common words used in JAV titles as a .txt for future use.
Sometimes i've been able to translate whispered dialouge using my phone. Use an translator app and play the line through my headset.

I didn't know about the whisperXXL Pro version, might be tempted to buy it.

Not sure if it's worth it, I think it's more when there's heavy background noise, like music (or a shower). But I am interested if anyone actually has tried it. The re-aligning of timings seems useful tho.

Well it solved the image problem. I will get image link from the internet if I found it, so you don't need to include it in zip file.

Yes, I noticed that, the .html file is very small and it links to the cover images. It's a great idea. I had a bunch of people ask me to not include the covers so I'm just upping the .srt's and if people want more data they can figure that out themeselves. It saves me a few extra steps. Great idea though. Thanks.
 
Do you know what Theydontwantto, I woke up at about 1:30 AM and thought, what am I thinking of, this program would be perfect. I could create the HTML file, add it to each zip and then if people want to browse the covers, cool, if not, not and the html file adds nothing to the zip size. I'm a moron. Yes, if you find that program please let me know where I can find it. and thanks.

This is my own program with my own way of use, I will try to write an user guide. In the mean time I can generate HTML file for you. Please note that HTML may not contains all video information because either I can't find the movie code in SRT name or I can't get the information for some codes,

Oh, don't go to any trouble. I have a LOT of older titles so it is not surprising that some will not be found. Don't worry about it. I will carry on uploading my srt's and that should be good enough. I'm just re-scanning my "C" files and my go back and do 'B's because I found a good tweak to improve my results. Since I've already uploaded the "A"s I will just leave them as is . but I now have re-do B and C.. Sigh.. Thanks anyway Theydonotwantto. don't worrry about it. Cheers//
 
I added checkpoint resume functionality to Mei2's WhisperWithVAD_pro Colab code. Download it in the Tutorials Whisper thread.

I updated my clean_japanese.py. A lot more patterns have been added. It's very comprehensive now. I updated the SYS_MSG in my deepseek_srt.py. Now the translations have more intensifiers and explicit language as I moved the double stars (bolded words) to **immersive, explicit, filthy erotic language, add intensifiers, and expand the phrasing**.

A mix of Whisper subs and Chinese subs, all translated with Deepseek. Recommend AKDL-210. She licks and drools a lot. Superb performance.

The following are zips B and C,approximately 1400 SRT files. There are some, like Caribbean.comfiles that have almost no dialog and there are a couple of my filesthat have 0 sound. I've deleted my srt's that have 0kb filesize but afew may have slipped through. I will take a few days off before Icarry on with D which is a fairly large file, Hang in there.
Stay tuned for revised info

I can't open it. The file has been corrupted or is not a valid notebook file.
