having some technical difficulties ripping with MeguIVit - too much of a learning curve too soon, but excellent rips using it will be coming soon.

in the meantime i am beginning a rip this morning using handbrake of HS-08, which will be done in an hour and thirty minutes, more or less. i will let you know here when i have reupped that video to its post:

Seattle is being hammered by rain now, so if you're flying you might have some delays. In any case, I'm just a stone's throw. Though I haven't been to fair Seattle since 2008 to see Ichiro. If you've never been, it's a lovely place. Enjoy it!

P.S. I realize that you cannot do anything about it now, but all links to OPUD-053, including the May 2013 repost are dead or non-existent. It's something for me to look forward to.

evande, if the film is in four separate chapters it is probably one of my very early rips. whatever software i would have used then - i was using a free version of something or another - and i couldn't figure out how to combine the .vob into a single video. progress marches on!

i am going to see if i can make a dvd of the parts of OPUD-053 and then make a single .mp4

i am ripping sanwa mook - HS-10 using MeguIVit - the rip will be completed probably sometime ~~tomorrow evening~~ [in an eight day period] but who knows. it will, i suspect, be a very high quality rip.

STATUS UPDATE: 10.11.2014: 55.38% complete
STATUS UPDATE: 10-15-2014: 1st part of rip completed at approximately 1:15 am PST - 4 days 11 hours 30 minutes remains on final encode

update: i have figured out the intricacies of MeguIVit and am currenting ripping HS-10 by sanwa mook, having started the rip on 10/06/2014 at 11:15 pst usa [01:15 pm akiba-online time], i am still only about 22% through the rip and have about 78% yet to complete.

i have learned from this that i must continue limping along ripping video with the various softwares i currently use, which includes dvd decryptor [decrypts copy protection], handbrake [free dvd ripper], an older version of Xilisoft Dvd Ripper [not a free dvd ripper], freemake [free - graps youtube and similar video off of internet and converts to various formats], BurnAware Free [burns any dvd for free], Remove Logo Now! [not free - to remove logos, subtitles, watermarks, date and time stamps from video files], EasyTag [free - application for viewing and editing tags in audio files but easily edits video tags as well] and finally, Amerisoft DRM Media Converter [not free - will remove DRM from most .wmv files].

in the future when i obtain and create another computer i do intend that it have enough steroids to run MeguIVit but for now limp i will.

It will tell you experience when I was encoded by TKMM-04.

The DVD decryption, " anydvd " is the easiest.(but shareware http://www.slysoft.com/en/anydvd.html )
And Shanaencoder is easy to encoded.(http://shana.pe.kr/shanaencoder_download Freeware)
