Unfortunately, I'm getting CRC errors in parts 7 and 14. Those parts cannot be repaired by WinRAR. I've tried downloading them again, as well. I have also run under the "keep broken file" option.

All the caps & cover unpack fine but the WMV is broken at about 29 minutes in and can't be played past that point.

Is there a way you can re-upload those parts, or repack the archive? Thanks!

I've updated the links on the post again. Parts 7 and 14 have a new link. 14 should be done in about 20 minutes or so, but the link has already been setup by RS.

I think when I up these, any interruptions (i.e. shutting down or resuming) doesnt seem to work well.

It still doesn't work. Once it gets to .rar 16 it breaks and says wrong password. Thanks for the efforts.

PS. It may be easier to not use passwords in the future. It's something that has been stolen and given out for free so passwords really don't serve much purpose.

The problem is clearly with uploading to Rapidshare, not the use of a password.

Specifically, part 16 (and possibly part 17) was corrupted during upload. Anytime a multi-part archive reports a CRC error prior to decompressing the last part of the volume, that's an indication that the part reporting the CRC error is corrupt. WinRAR suggests that it may be a wrong password, but it's only a wrong-password issue if the last part of the volume doesn't unpack.

It would be most kind if we get both parts 16 and 17 uploaded again. That should ensure the archive is complete, as uploading parts 7 and 14 again worked very well.

If I was going to make a suggestion, it would be to include a 10 percent recovery record in WinRAR archives, to prevent having to repost. A recovery record of 10 percent can fix minor CRC glitches like this.

I went back after this post and downloaded all the links from post 841 again. Those links require the password indicated in the post, and part 16 is still corrupt as of this writing.

If you have an alternate source for this, please point to it. Thanks!

Parts 7 and 14 have been uploaded again by OP, you need to download them again. The password is not wrong; several parts of the archive are corrupt. WinRAR only suggests entering a wrong password as a possible cause of the error.

Part 16 (and, possibly, 17) are also corrupt. OP will hopefully repost them soon.

I think you are probably talking about the original links and files.

As you say, the files from the original links were fine, and the files did not require a password.

I believe the poster updated the files and the links since then, and that seems to be causing all the problems.

Back from work guys. Sorry for all the trouble. I can re up all the stuff tomorrow with fresh links and such, if you guys can wait a night (during the evening I can't upload - my bandwidth is taken all up and I need it for other uses). I'll upload a full working archive overnight and test it before I deploy the new links. I don't know but I think Rapidshare Manager doesn't really bode well for uploading and resuming uploads for me. So I'll do straight re-up of it all again.

In sacrifice of playing Borderlands multiplayer I am re upping the entire set of .rar's again. It extracts fine for me so I am non stop uploading overnight and will verify the upload by re downloading before i share the links again.

UPDATE: Re uploading and halfway done. I should have links up by the morning pacific time

Hi sulaka, I just woke up and am verifying my RS upload (which still has password "atp" btw). I've not uploaded to MU just yet but will do so today So links will be up today for that. Let's see how much faster my @work connection is

The reason why I put pass is that it is associated to a premium RS account and I don't really want to get in trouble for it. In any case it's out there and I'll prolly put it on puretna for good measure sometime this week.

When creating the archive in WinRAR, under the General tab, click ON the checkbox for "put recovery record." Then click the Advanced tab. To the top right, find "recovery record." Set that to be at least 5 percent, better 10 percent; anything higher than 10 percent is overkill.

The size of your total archive will be increased by that much; for example, a 1.7 GB archive will become about 1.9 GB with a 10 percent recovery record; but again, this allows downloaders to correct minor problems such as CRC errors.
