Anyone remember the movie "10"?
Dudley Moore is in a mid-life crisis, and he becomes infatuated with this vision of loveliness, played by Bo Derek - the title character, a "10." (Pictured above.) He's obsessed, and despite her being so ridiculously out of reach, he's just got to have her.
Finally, he gets her in bed, but the reality does not live up to his fantasy. He actually walks out on her, which was absolutely unbelievable, but the point of the story is: something we spend loads of time dying to get our hands on can turn out to be a disappointment.
As we all know, some JAVs seem simply unattainable. But what happens when a description of a JAV sounds absolutely perfect... something you know will prove to push your buttons without even trying? You look around, and there is barely mention of it anywhere - even the vendor sites don't come up when you perform a search. The more impossible it is to get, the more you crave it. Yes, lady and gentlemen, what I am describing is the "Bo Derek" of JAVs.
Then one day... one happy day... miracle of miracles, after a period of time that may have encompassed years... the JAV of your dreams is in sight! Hallelujah, it's tantamount to the coming of Jesus, only you're sure it's not just Jesus who will be coming.
Allow me to illustrate. There is a member among us whose heart is made of gold. He is so golden-hearted, in fact, I worry for his welfare, because I am scientifically aware that metal in the heart makes it difficult for the heart to pump and also puts pressure on the valves. Anyway, this member, so embarrassingly out of step with today's world given that altruism barely exists anymore (once Mother Teresa died, that was pretty much it), actually made it possible for me to get my greedy paws on the film. I was deeply touched, because the last time I received such a gesture was when a mouse pulled a thorn out of one said paw.

It's part of a series comprised of at least eight movies, only - with one exception, Volume 5 - you can't find any of them, anywhere. (At least not to my experience.)
There are two or three themes at work that I find extremely attractive. One is that of an initially resistant or confused heterosexual woman being corrupted by a lesbian. The other employs a mother-daughter element (and it seems like mother-daughter is the relationship explored here, as much as the title implies two ladies unrelated to one another). And I absolutely love it when the one in the authority role surrenders her power to the one in the subordinate role. DJNJ-19 promised to offer all of these perverted things. (I was so excited, in fact, I shared my stupendous finding with the denizens of Slimedog's Lesbian JAV.)
In addition, the casting seemed on the mark. You can usually rely on JAV makers to have the imagination and sensitivity to cast women who look the parts. Compare with American porn, where you get slutty-looking mothers with fake breasts and skimpy dresses, or ones in the innocent victims' roles who sport tattoos... stupid American porn!
As you can see from the cover, the "student" looks believable as a tough bitch, and the pretty "mature" looks angelic, someone you can buy as being pushed around by a brat. So the movie begins, I'm all set with my popcorn, and things start out well enough. We get right into the action, and the "mother" folds up quickly to the young one dominating her. All right, the mother sticks out her tongue, giving in to the lesbianism far too quickly, but you can't expect a movie to play the script in your head, so we have to accept some imperfections.
A couple of half-hearted smacks on the ass, which was a step in the right direction, but the same fondling movements kept repeating over and over. It was worrisome, yet there was still hope. The second scene begins, the "mother" is alone and changes into the young one's sailor suit, and then masturbates.
So the middle scene was entirely a wasteful masturbation scene, but hope was not entirely lost - there was still around one-third of the film's running time left. The girl confronts the "mother" for having worn the girl's sailor suit (the girl smells the underarms of her shirt, that's how she knew), which opens the door for further harassment. All right, now we're going to see some real action.
Nothing really happens; the "mother" is put on the receiving end of a vibrator and... that's it!
It's this kind of experience that makes me think about writing a complaint letter, which I can't do since I'm too lazy to learn Japanese, or at least ask for my money back, which I also can't do, since I unethically got this movie under the table, for free. Woe is me!
Just not right, I say, especially when you've been clamoring for what appears to be such a great JAV for so long. It's difficult to understand how the filmmakers could not know how to exploit their subject to at least some potential.
Yet just when you're ready to see the neck doctor after shaking your head in disbelief over such incompetence, along comes a JAV that gets everything right!
And this is the theme of my thread. (That was some prologue, huh?)
The interesting thing is, unlike the DJNJ Lesbian r*** series, I didn't even know about this movie. I almost passed it up because it was of a size that normally I would find too large (it's shy of one gig, which is baby-sized for a lot of you; I'll be telling you how you can also get it by post's end, if you're interested). If you are the discriminating sort when you watch a JAV that focuses on the victimization of a woman (a favorite theme of JAV, as we all know), and are fairly confident that you will not get shortchanged with the pornographic scenes (which often happens with, say, superheroine JAV), what you want to see is the prelude, where life is normal. Then comes the trap, or the squeeze, and our heroine gets cornered. Once the ball gets rolling, you don't want to see the same scenes getting repeated, you want the ordeal to keep ratcheting up in fresh new ways, hopefully building and building with greater indignities, each more shameless than the last. Well, good luck if you can get that, because it takes a director with inspiration and imagination to not play simply by the numbers, but to put some heart and soul into the work.
Aya Tanaka is the section chief of the office, as the translated description tells us, and is an "elite woman of crunching." (I take that to mean, the more elite they are, the more enjoyable to see them get crunched.) Note that she is the head honcho, sitting in front of the underlings, and that other female worker who will prove to be the bane of her existence appears to be on the low end of the power structure, getting coffee for everyone.
This is great. Already we are establishing that the one in the authority position will get undone by the one in the subordinate's role, allowing for the humiliations to follow to be all the more irresistible.
Next, the casting is superb. Ryo Takamiya, who plays the tormentor, does an acceptable job, but the one I had my Aye on was Aya Tanaka, in the role of the damsel in distress; she's got a special, qualitative look to her that is difficult to put into words. I'll have more to say about Aya a little later.
Thankfully, the filmmakers delivered on the sensitivity and creativity we often find with JAV execution, by making sure something as simple as a stark visual will enhance our acceptance of the fantasy. Note how Ryo towers over Aya, making Aya's domination more readily believable.
Ryo starts with the lesbian moves, and Aya finds herself unable to resist. The great thing about Aya Tanaka is that she conveys the emotion of wanting to... but not wanting to. It's wonderful.
Now that Aya has taken the bait, Ryo feels free to start testing the boss in all kinds of dangerous situations. As Aya faces the sitting male workers while over a counter, Ryo goes to work on Aya's private parts. Naturally, Aya must try to stifle her shaking, rattling and rolling.
Ryo keeps ratcheting up her aggressive moves by putting Aya in a compromising position, right in the big boss' office. Look at Aya Tanaka's face, and how conflicted she is... she doesn't want to. But she wants to.
Naturally, what we all want to see takes place; the big boss catches the ladies in the act.
The movie travels next in a direction that I always welcome, and I wish there was more of it. Once the heterosexual woman is caught in the web of the sinister lesbian, the lesbian demonstrates her power in the greatest way possible... by finding a male henchman to have hetero sex with the lesbian's victim. That's just what Ryo does after hours in the office, and it is fabulous. (Aya still has some spunk left, mind you, she doesn't just give in to the attacking creep. This is getting better and better.)
Why, oh WHY does the self-respecting stuffed shirt keep ditching her shirt, and allow this evil woman do all of this to her? Why? (I say... why?)
Blame it on Ryo! It simply isn't fair for Aya to be expected to provide sexual servitude, but you might say it's not like Aya does not have a choice. (Isn't that a great shot?)
Look at the uncertainty, discomfort and dismay behind those pretty eyes and intelligent face.
After Ryo has her lesbian way with Aya again in the office, she whispers the latest ignominy Aya must undergo. Aya resists, this is the last straw. But the situation is hopeless, as the taller woman drags Aya into the big boss' office.
In the sad scenes that follow, the director has wisely chosen many looking-into-the-camera (or the other party's point-of-view) shots of Aya's pleading face, demonstrating the painful depths she has allowed herself to plunge into. We get the idea of the psychology behind the drama, allowing the prurience to be even more satisfying. It's not just pornography, in other words. (Check out the last and the next-to-last frames of the screen shots, at bottom, for more of a taste of these soulful expressions.)
And then the coup de grâce which clinches what a great movie this is, responsibly and competently pulling out all of the stops. While the big boss is enjoying himself on one end, at Aya's expense, Ryo sits on Aya's face demanding the surrender of Aya's last shred of dignity. The best thing following a lesbian's most powerful demonstration of her dominance by forcing hetero sex upon her victim is to insist on being serviced at the same time.
You can imagine the points Ryo has scored with the big boss, leading to a possible promotion in the office. The film culminates with a very poignant ending shot, signifying Aya's acceptance of her new lot in life.
After viewing the movie, I looked into that collection of mine and discovered some Aya Tanaka movies on hand. She has been one of many attractive JAV actresses, and I never paid special attention to her, but I was very impressed by her appearance, and her performance, in this movie.
In an attempt to learn more about her, she seems to have made a good few movies (judging by her page at Asian Screens) spotlighting the role of a real-life announcer. We know how much the JAV industry loves to brag about snaring a legitimate professional from the ranks of the working world, and who knows if this claim has truth to it. She seems to have made a lot of MOODYZ movies at the beginning (ca. 2007) of her porn career, and perhaps she was a contract girl.
You can pick up a couple of these announcer movies as semi-painless downloads from the Sexvidx site, if interested; we've got MIGD-010, as well as her "Legitimate AV Debut," MIGD-002. The downloads go for around a gig (Jeez!) each.
As far as the great movie discussed above, looks like RBD-155 has been a relative rarity, showing up only once in the archives two years ago (with, predictably, now-dead links). Only in this past year has the film been showing up here and there. Those with premium Ryushare accounts may pick it up on a page several sites have pointed to, for about 940 MB.
I got my 954 MB copy from New-Jav, the likely front for Novafile. I hate to patronize a filehoster that puts up a porn web site appearing to be unconnected, so they can criminally profit (much of New-Jav's offerings are over one gigabyte, forcing the purchase of a Novafile premium account) off properties they do not own, but at least I'm not putting money into their pockets.
