STORY:
Setsunaku nakeru ‘kowai hanashi’ is a nice horror drama movie that comprises three different episodes, Meisho (famous place *for suicides*), Beth and Mail. The horror style is quite soft and probably you won’t be moved to tears as the title suggests but it’s still a very nice movie to watch. The typical US B-movie horror ‘style’ is well mixed with the Japanese perception of what is scaring in a horror tale, ‘setsunasa’ and ‘awaremi’ (sense of loss, compassion and grief) are the prominent feelings portrayed in these stories.
In the cast appears also TAKA, singer of the popular j-rock band ‘Lacryma Christi’, he’s the main actor in the last episode of the movie: ‘Mail’.
Ps. The BGM is really GOOD!
