One of the weirder movies from Japan, and that says a lot. There´s numerous segments that are supposedly "connected" to each other but by the end of the movie no one will be able to tell what´s going on. Some of the episodes last only for seconds, some tell a "story" with recurring characters. Someone on the net interpreted the "plot" this way: Aliens are somehow on earth, they mess with a bunch of people, the end. Maybe. Characters/storylines include idiot TV variety show-style comedy duo "The Mole Brothers", the "unpopular with Women Brothers" including "Guitar Brother", the "Babbling Hot Spring Vixens", telling endless and pointless morality stories, a school were pupils are educated in dealing with Cronenberg-esque alien creatures (like milking them, making ALL their heads smile, using them as musical instruments, ...), all mixed up with disco dancing dream sequences, insane animation and a live gig of an intergalactic girlgroup in some forest (hence the title).
A love-it-or-hate-it movie. Also you will laugh a lot without knowing why.
