SUMMARY:
Kitaro is a yokai boy born in a cemetery. He is missing his left eye, but his hair usually covers the empty socket. He fights for peace between humans and yokai, which generally involves protecting the former from the wiles of the latter.
Kazamatsuri Hana is being haunted by a yokai that is trying to pull her into a mirror world. Desperately she sends for Kitarou's help via the yokai post office. This is the start of an adventure involving the awakening of an evil power that had been sealed by King Yama. Can Kitarou protect Hana and the rest of Japan?
