Kaizokuban Bootleg Film is a black and white, black comedy, about a retiring Yakuza member and a cop who are best friends. Tatsuo (Akira Emoto) and Kiyoshi (Kippei Shiina), who are traveling to the funeral of a woman they both loved named Fumiko. While remembering her, the two stir up old resentments toward each other which is only made worse by their chosen career paths: Tatsuo is a retiring yakuza and Kiyoshi is a cop. They eventually meet a young couple who discover a corpse in the trunk of Tatsuo and Kiyoshi’s car. What’s worse, the corpse is Tatsuo’s brother!
