Hi
was doing some research on the BBAN series and found a site with some information about schools in Japan. Sorry I lost the link but I assure everyone this is all genuine.
May not be interesting to most people though.
Can leave at age 16.
70% of pupils stay on till 18. Known as upper secondary.
About 70% of upper secondary schools are private and fees are paid. Varies but about 120,000 $ a year.
The government pays 50% towards private schools upkeep.
Who pays the other 50%? I havent been able to find out.
School uniform, strictness varies from school to school.
Apparently the more senior the girls the shorter they can wear their skirts. True I am not making it up.
please reply with any comments.
