<ストーリー>
今も昔も変わらぬショービジネス界の頂点、イルミネーションが光り輝くニューヨークのブロードウェイ。ミュージカル監督、ジョー・ギデオンは酒と女とヘビースモーキング、そしてステージに明け暮れる日々を送っていた。忙しさの続く中、ジョーは過労のために倒れ生死をさまよってしまう。無意識の中、自分の人生を回顧する彼の前に現れた美しい天使、彼女は死の象徴だった…。
