Newsgroups - How To?

So... what's a good way to acess Newsgroups (with batch downloads, if possible)? Cheap, or free, if possible?

I get newsgroup access from my ISP so you should check with them to see if they offer that as well. As for software, I've used Xnews (freeware) with no problems. Thats my 2 cents.
