Synopsis :
This movie is a truly masterpiece and one of the saddest movies I have ever seen. I tells the story of four siblings who live in Tokyo and have different fathers. They are constantly neglected by their mother, whom is a hooker, and is constantly chasing some pipe dream fantasy. As the movie goes on, they are left alone by her with only a note and little money and have to face life on their own, and come to terms with being outcasts from society.
Director Hirokazu Koreeda captures the polarization of modern Japanese life and the apathy in which we live. We are blind and nobody knows what people around us are suffering
