kid, you have not watched enough jav stuff :tea:

Would certainly be Happy to get multiple links or even names of/to "jav stuff" in which (shaved!!) actresses l00k under 18 ...even after their school uniforms etc "outer teen-ness" has been removed! Thanks! Just to prove myself being wrong in this issue, for sure having no other motives whatsoever... :pandalaugh:

Guys, first of all this is a bit of storm in a teacup, my best guess is TPP will never come to realization (not gonna to explain my POV here) anyway at best TPP will take 15+ years to negotiate and rectify. This whole transpacific pornographic intercourse is totally premature, ahem...

Anyway... we can learn something from trends in Europorn. I lived in Europe for a few years and have been watching Europorn for a long time. What happened was that in last 10 years, Europorn was being Americanized. BTW that had nothing to do with any trade agreement, it's just due to availability of multi-region DVD players.

Also some US porn has also picked up some Europorn's character so now it's not always easy to tell apart if a particular vid is Euro or US.

So if somehow there's a major increase in US-Japan trade, there's a very real possibility JAV will become Americanized. That's something that may be worrying.

Apart from child porn (perceived or real), there are other JAV theme that will be very difficult to swallow (ahem) in US. r*** (pretended) or torture theme JAV will face legal, communal standard (pressure groups) and market resistance. Personally I watch/enjoy some of them, but IMHO its really overused and reflect some pathology in Japanese manhood. It's a fine line between kink and sick. JAV isn't going to get a lot of US business unless they tone down the "sick" (which is quite subjective). Personally I am a bit worried about this, for now I can be my own judge and give a pass to the "sick" stuff but what if JAV makers, in order to please the US market, stop making the "kink" stuffs too?

As for mosaic, actually increase in trade might be good. Firstly, it's quite possible each country can maintain there respective moral standard: US porn can add mosaic when exported to Japan (which happens already) and JAV can un-add the mosaic when export to US (Western audience falls asleep when they can't see the genitals). Well that would be the best I think. If Japan lift the mosaic law, I'm afraid JAV makers will make too many close up of the genitals and change the style that we are used and enjoy. Whereas if they keep making JAV with mosaic for their domestic market, but export the non-mosaic version to US and we here in Akiba can pick up and share the version, isn't that the best of both worlds? But that's probably just wishful thinking.

Anyway my bet is that nothing is going to change for many years to come...

Well, sure enough it isn't going to happen.

Lol I don't think the US market will tolerate mosaics - no matter how loli the girls are. Its not like they can't get young looking girls on their side already without censors. After all, the US has the Barely Legal series while Europe has Met-Art.

Now gravure...that is a different matter altogether. There is a market for erotic non-nude works over there, and gravure fits the niche just fine.
