Ya know, I find the term "amateur," when applied to an actress in adult video, to be unfair, and condescending. Maybe if the filmmaker finds someone off the street, who was not planning to be in porn, I can buy it. But if a woman sets off to be in the industry, whether she appears in a couple of films or a hundred films, she's an equal in the club. She may not be as good, or as "professional" as the more seasoned performer, but that would be a subjective opinion. (Bearing in mind the other side of the coin: because someone has longevity in porn or any other industry, that does not necessarily make that person good at what the person does.)
