Yosuke plays a teenager named Sugihara with an unorthodox upbringing. Sugihara is a Japanese born Korean that attended a North Korean only school, has a father that bases his morals on boxing, and has grown up as a minority in Japanese society. Being exposed to boxing and violent yet uniquely just ideals from a young age, Sugihara develops a some what rebellious strong willed attitude towards life. He soon leaves North Korean school to attend Japanese school after deciding he's had enough of a strict dictated education. After taking the reigns and making his own decisions for his future, he continues to deal with alienation from society but backs himself by fighting.
One day he is approached by a girl named Sakurai. Instantly intrigued by her mysterious beauty, he pursues her. A friendship is established between the two. Sakurai unbeknownst to Sugiharas background continue's to fall for his lonesome rebellious persona and they soon become a couple in love. Sugihara has to deal with many twists of fate in this film, The issues and Ideals involving his Korean friends are featured. But the most important problem he faces is - How will Sakurai react when he tells her about his ethnic roots?
