Synopsis:
High school students Mikayo, Chuko, Kei, and Munae are members of a historical research club of the scool. To study remnants of an ancient clan of warriors called the ochimusha, they trip to Oshakabe village in Yamagata prefecture with their theacher Mr. Kachi. When they arrive, the local villagers are demolishing historic shrine and as a result, the ochimusha rise from the grave and attack the people.
In a rural village with an 800 year curse, a plan comes into place to demolish a shrine to build an amusement park. This then causes angry samurais to come back from the dead - hell bent on revenge and high school students on a field trip from Tokyo to stand in their way.
