Synopsis: 54-year-old Ikeuchi Asako (Asano Atsuko) is single. The president of a company with several stylists, she is active in magazines as a lifestylist. She has not been in love for close to 10 years. Although she realises that she does not get as excited and feels a little lonely, she is also at ease. She enjoys her work and has a best friend in Hayakawa Natsuko (Asano Yuko). Natsuko has a husband Keisuke (Iwaki Koichi), but no children. She enjoys a little popularity as the lady boss of the Chinese restaurant which Keisuke runs. However, his struggling business gives her cause for worry. What Natsuko must do before she dies is to marry her good friend Asako off. She wants Asako to be happiest even if she is a single woman. Asako is also Keisuke�s good friend. In fact, he was initially Asako�s boyfriend. He had been in a job handling the import and sale of foreign furniture for some time, but now in addition to that, he runs a restaurant a few doors away. In truth, the business is not doing very well. One day, an upset Natsuko barges in on Asako with a big suitcase after discovering that Keisuke has cheated on her. She has come to live with Asako in her detached house. Asako is shocked, but this time it is more severe than usual. Natsuko had discovered the existence of Keisuke�s love child. Furthermore, the child is a little boy just over a year old and his mother is a ridiculously young 24-year-old woman called Julia. She set off for America after leaving the boy in Keisuke�s care and is uncontactable. Asako gets embroiled in the Hayakawas dispute once again. Meanwhile, a new love comes Asako�s way. She ends up having to face the lawyer Julia hired because she is the representative of Natsuko and Keisuke. The lawyer is Seto Koichi (Kusakari Masao), a divorcee and friend of Julia�s late father. At first, Asako and Seto are adversarial because of the sudden consultations, but gradually grow closer. On the other hand, Natsuko, who is faced with the crisis of divorce, receives encouragement from a 26-year-old employee by the name of Ishido Ryu (Ichihara Hayato). There is also a deep secret between the two of them � �
