You know, that is actually a very pressing question: what's the Best Adult Host Service that you know of? I'm having an adult-oriented site in development and searching for a quality hosting provider can be a real pain. Plus I'm not interested in going on the "free" version; that is, I'm looking for quality and reliability.

Of course, ideally I would host it on my server - my fast connection allows me to, and I think that my provider also does - but I'm afraid I'd be getting in legal trouble: Japan's retrograde position with regard to the uncensored stuff...

If any of you have any valid and valuable hints, please feel free to post them in your replies!

Most hosting companies allow adult content as long as it not copyright materials. They do not want to have anything to do with copyright issues.Your site's a blog?

Thanks for the reply, but a general assertion like "most companies..." isn't really helping. The site's not a blog, and not a forum, although it could contain both :)

Thanks for the tip. I'll have a look into it today, see how it might fit my needs.

And by the way, while recently changing hosts and looking for a reliable one for my other sites (nothing kinky), I have developed a 3-steps strategy that appears to have served me well, although I'm obviously having problems applying it to the XXX area; obviously things are a little more shadowed here...

So here's how it worked for me:

Step 1: Look for hosting providers recommended by the platform(s) you've been using -- Joomla! and WordPress in my case.
Step 2: Look for hosting providers that are not afraid to show off their best clients lists. I found this specific step to weight significantly in the decision making process.
Step 3: Establish contact to evaluate response time and quality. Personally, I like to inquire on specific points of the ToA ;)

So, if any one else have some recommendations, I'm all ears :)
