I'm just getting 25kb/s speeds at any given time of the day with megaupload, eventually the download breaks down to a halt around 10%. I'm not impressed by megaupload sorry, I get way higher speeds with other file hosts. Megaupload used to be better though, 1 or 2 years back always nice speeds...

Downloading those files seems rather impossible, files always stop after like 10% and then they fail. You might want to consider a different file host.

Dude, you have no idea how much work it is to keep a forum clean of spammers.... With a forum the size of Akiba you need a small regiment of mods to keep control of the spamnobs.

Yeah it's obvious, most spammers/botters have the same ip range as well, that says more than enough. So I think we can safely say that the recent red screen occurances at Akiba are for 70% the cause of the spammers, well then lets hope they're going to take a break soon :pandalaugh:

Yeah spammers are a big issue recently, and not only here. On many more forums they are active and 8 out of 10 of those spammers are bots, and it's a major pain in the arse to get rid of them. When you ban them, they come back twice as hard.

I agree, in my case this often happens when trying to login, and then I cannot even check the forums as a guest but get that annoying red screen. This never ever happened since I'm a member here before the site went down last time, and I'm a member for 2,5 years. :puzzled:
