I checked it out and she's just too close to the cameras in the first part, at least in the beginning. Other than that both of the scenes don't have the cameras temporally synced so the 3D will look worse than if they were aligned properly.

It's not too weird, doing it 3d (by modeling masks in 3d and adjusting the masks to fit with the VR stereo) would be possible but would take 100 times longer probably so probably not a good idea. That said, yes it does kill immersion.

I would suggest DeoVR, you desperately need a horizontal stereo offset setting for JAV VR because most videos are off. Usually you need to increase the offset. I find it easy to focus on the background objects and adjust the offset until my eyes can focus on them without problems. This will help...
