making the transition from using IllustriousXL to Anima for my Checkpoints. A lot of work ahead but I've long since established that when it comes to StableDiffusion it's all about the journey, not the destination. Anima seems to adhere to prompts more accurately and renders a lot more detail...

If you're fairly new to A.I. generation I'd suggest Automatic over Comfy, and ForgeUI over Automatic. Forge has a bit more polish beneath the hood than Automatic, and Comfy can be overwhelming.

Gradually inching closer to realism with each new iteration of my ongoing obsession. Current state of play:

I am indeed :) It's just one of the images\prompts I use to benchmark new iterations of a model against, but I am very fond of it.

Thaks mate, It's not as elegant or as flexible as most other models, but it's becoming better and better and at what it's designed to do. It's also been a very entertaining learning process ;)

It feels something like a crime to break up this flow of beautiful realism with more of my fluff.. Latest tweaks to my checkpoint appear to be working :)

I'll give Comfy a proper look this weekend, (finally got it to install), I may swing back here for tips on animations if it all goes well :)

I have a very similar setup, gave Comfy another look yesterday After spending 25 minutes trying to get the bugger installed I quit and went back to Forge. I suspect I'll move to Comfy at some point, but not just yet ;)

I need to get stuck into Comfyui but it's a bit terrifying to look at compared to Flux or EasyDiffusion. The fact you can use Comfy to create videos may be deal clincher.
