@KaiEr, looking at this, I've got an idea, that this might be something on your machine treating twimg as spam or malware and blocking links through in-browser javascript or something. AdBlocker or similar. Otherwise this is a matter for reporting in Bugs, with sample screenshots and info like...

That's a totally surprising return ...with a very expected style.
