Again an unexpected behaviour. two of the three fronend-servers were heavily under load, due to the HDD being overloaded. so... the page-speed you will experience from 2 of the servers will now be a little slower, since i had to disable caching in order to get a better performance. perhaps...

The unread post-count is back! but. it will cache the results for about 5 minutes until it will ask the database for an update (we had to set it up this way, in order to keep the strain on the db as low as possible)

yes. there was some strange behavious that leads the system to timeout the request on the database (i don't know yet why) but an update or downgrade hasn't helped . so i had to disable it, until a solution is found. What bugs me the most is, that is has worked good, until the DDOS >.<
