Sorry, can't help, but thought I'd point out that many JAV ISOs are not originals but have been compressed by something like DVDShrink. Only way to avoid the compressed ones would be to go for ones bigger than 4.67 GB, or to buy originals.

Generally I only download ISOs, hoping for the best possible quality, but note that many available have been compressed from the original size (e.g. 7 GB) to 4 GB (presumably so they fit on recordable DVDs), actually giving worse quality than an AVI.

My theory is that it is the exotic brown eyes and black hair, AND that everything else is mostly indistinguishable from Western Caucasian features. Other races have brown eyes and black hair, but they also have other differences, such as noses, lips and skin colour, and too many differences...

I'd say that about 1% of JAVs are sublimely excellent, and 99% are not. After a lot of time here at Akiba I've got enough of the 1% that I can ignore the 99%. Maybe the original poster has only ever seen the 99% (it takes a lot of effort to find the 1%). If only Akiba had sub-forums for the 2...

I agree with you, but there are a few exceptions. Check out the Kawaii movies that have several girls, they are mostly filmed from over the shoulder of the guy in order to get all the girls in the shot. My collection is pretty much these kawaii movies, plus a lot of lesbians.

I'd avoid showing her any lesbian JAVs, many of which are so good that she may get into it and dump you (watch them alone to improve your technique, and to never worry about lack of performance). Good looking guys in JAVs are quite rare, but they do exist, but can't think of any examples...

Problem with that is that it is our Japanese guests who do a lot of the long-term seeding of torrents. Not wanting to upset them I just avoid their popular evening times, pretty much the only time when the site slows to a crawl.

How about a policy of encouraging thumbnails and discouraging full-size pictures.

How about to Europe? And if so could you find older DVDs that some sites show as out of stock? An example would be a JAV DVD with id CTD-085.

Yes, can confirm no bootlegs at nbj.co.jp, all have been genuine DVDs in cellophane wrappers.

I buy JAV DVDs from here: http://catalog.nbj.co.jp/ Catalog 18 mostly, but also A2 for lesbian. Their prices are discounted, and they seem to have everything. You can search using the DVD id (e.g. DVDES-199). More buying advice on request.

Good question, one that has been asked here before - you could do a search to find previous discussions. I call it wailing, and find it exasperating. JAV is generally excellent, but it could be so much better without the wailing; does it not occur to the producers that they would sell much...

I've recently discovered the Fairy Doll series thanks to this forum, and was wondering if there were similar series. The fairy dolls are like real sex, unlike most JAVs, which are like porn movies.

As a long-standing lurker and from time-to-time poster on usenet I think that is an interesting idea, maybe with a different group for each type of material. Torrents need peers and seeds, so another route to getting them would be useful, and usenet would provide an alternative to the file...

Is this why my 2 active torrents have stopped down and up loading, despite many seeds and peers being present?

How about a forum in the JI section for comments/questions on specific junior idols. The current structure allows for pictures and movies to be posted, but not for discussion.
