My first pass at converting this DVD - I realized that the files are rather large, so I'm going to reduce the quality about 5 or 10 percent to get a smaller file size (with 6 full scenes its 3gb currently). I'll fix that after the work day...

    If you downloaded them manually, find the program HJSplit to re-join them. Files with ".001", ".002" and such generally need to be re-joined. I use JDownloader for all direct download needs. It takes care of the downloading (for the most part) autojoining, etc.

    I second JaqTaar's method. I've done the same for some stuff I've shared here and elsewhere. DVD Decrypter to rip, AutoGK to convert. I've used ImageGrabber II to make thumbnails (or you can use Media Player Classic's build in 'save thumbnails' option to create a thumbnail of the vid).
