    Problem with filesonic

I suppose you meant filesonic? Anyway, seems you can't direct link the files to download. I suppose you should verify you're correctly logged in.

How do u make screencaps of a movie?

It is still used? Didn't they switch development to HC?

How do u make screencaps of a movie?

I suggest you to use media player classic home cinema (MPC-HC for short) that comes with CCCP codec pack. Simply go to File menu, click on "Save thumbnails" and voila, you have a picture with different scenes from your movies, and infos on top of them.

Question about torrents and download sites

Hmm, a torrent is not harmful by itself. It's just binary text used to connect to the trackers and make peers/seeds able to interact by receiving/sending parts of the files you want to download. But obviously, utorrent has to open ports on your computer to work correctly. Intruders could...

Question about torrents and download sites

Well, you got things wrong. You need to open your .torrent files in a torrent client, i suggest utorrent. The client will connect to the tracker and contact users who share the files you want. Then you just have to wait for your downloads to be finished :tea:

cannot resume any filehost WHILE downloading

Hmm, to be honest, even with a premium account, i've noticed the connections have a certain lifespan. For example, on Filesonic, i have quite a lot of "server error". If i don't notice them immediately and restart the download manually, it tends to fail by donwloading 16 bytes and i'm obliged to...

A software to sort out videos

3 possible answers, in my opinion: - Make you own database, using tags. With Microsoft Access for example. - Install some software managing collections with tags. Search the net for that, i don't use that, so i can't help. - Copernic desktop search, which also uses tags and indexes to find...

What's the best uploading site at the moment?

Hmm... That's what i thought too. So they're only popular because they reward you for the number of time your files are downloaded?

What's the best uploading site at the moment?

Hmm, it seems it's quite problematic for free users too... Their sire always time-out for me, and when i retry my download, they said i have to wait 20 minutes... :notagain:

What's the best uploading site at the moment?

Hello! :hi: So well, the title is self-explanatory. At the moment, i just have a hotfile premium account. I also had Rapidshare and Megaupload, but RS is a bit of a pain now, and MU gives decent speed and small waiting time for a free account. But well, i want to spend some money to get another...

    Viruses disguised as Java Updates

It seems you have to be sure you're running the latest version of firefox. Do not click when it says it's missing some components. And install the official java packages from java.sun.com (well,it'll redirect you to Oracle, since Sun is part of Oracle now^^) Then simply let java updater take...

    Codec Prob/Thumbnail Prob Please Help

Funny i'm always the 1st one to answer your threads^^7 So anyway, it's a known problem on Windows XP. It's most likely caused because the preview showing on the left pane (or thumbnails) is making explorer.exe go kaboom. Click that link and follow the instructions, should be enough to clear the...
