An ordinance targeting the underage dating businesses -- the first of its kind -- was passed by the Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly in March, and will become effective on July 1.
Need to hurry over there it seems.. Time is critical.. (Just Kidding)

Odd about laws. I had no idea here in the U.S. only TEN states have 18 as the legal age of consent. All the other 40 are 17 and 16! Wow! I always thought it was 18 nationally.

Utah was forced to raise the age to 18, of lose the Winter Olympics one year. Strange how that works.
So many sister wives, so little time.

Laws, not unlike sausage, need not, nor ever be, witnessed in the making process.
Most if not all laws and civil ordinances, are based upon "Slippery Slope Logic".
A first year college student that attends a "Debate" class, is informed, "Slippery Slope Logic" is a false premise in any debate.
Who do we sue first?
