I remember getting this set 20 years ago from old sites but I can not find this anymore. The set is from a site called genmasite. Does anyone have this?

Ok this is the Hex version of the steps. I assume other hex editors would display the same way. The important thing is that there is a lot of 00 hex values preceeding the group of hex values that are in line 0400.

Here are steps on how to fix it. If you downloaded the archive, you have the data already so all you need is notepad++ or any decent hex editor.

This is 212.jpg. The problem is that in Notepad++ using ANSI encoding, there are several NUL characters preceeding the header. It was strange that this file has 2MB worth of data that is not displaying so I compared with the others and then gave it a try. I renamed it to 212b.jpg as a backup...

212.jpg seems corrupt but I fixed it in Notepad++ The other JPG files start with this: so to fix 212.jpg, just delete the NUL characters that precede the expected start of a Jpg
