It's hard to say, my best guess is that only a few studios made top quality gokkun. When 2 or 3 of those studios slowed/stopped releasing gokkun it really has left a noticeable void to the fans. Also, I think these studios switched away from gokkun towards other genre's that had a larger fan...

It could be the Tokyo Olympics coming up next summer. The big media love to do expose's showing the dark/seedy side of the host countries culture to boost their ratings. It looks quite possible the govt. has asked JAV producers to tame their content so the big media has less embarrassing...

I agree, Minimum was great at first, one of their early videos is my all time favorite. After 2013 they definitely started going downhill, I would check their new releases every month but nothing came close to their early stuff.

Looks like MUM's website(minimum-av.com) has been shut down. Not a huge shock as they didn't have any new releases since around Aug of last year. I figured they'd last about 6 months after that but it turned out to be approx 10. RIP MUM!

I don't have any industry knowledge..however, my first guess as to why Minimum stopped releasing titles is they simply ran out of steam. It seemed to me their content had slowly gone downhill for at least a couple of years, the cuter girls started becoming rarer and rarer..sales went downhill...

Maybe they're cracking down on loli in Japan? Minimum is defunct and a lot of these girls are gone or leaving.

Yeah, they're done. Three straight months without any new releases? They were great a couple three years ago..however, their stuff has been going downhill ever since. MUM-046 is my all time fave. Sayonara Mummy!
