Microsoft Mixed Reality maybe another cheaper option, last time i check it was around 230++usd from amazon (HP brand - the other seems like hasnt down the price). from my own experience (i have used gearvr, oculus and have my own HP mr), for vewing 3d video content, i think gearvr is good...
