Not exactly what you're asking for but solving the same problem: if you're on Windows, you can download SubtitleEdit to edit the SRT file instead. Subtitle Edit has a command to shift all time tags forward or backwards by as much as you want- AnacletusWhip

A lot of RARs in this thread are rejected by my WinRar as corrupted or in wrong format. Any clue why is this? (Edit: 7zip seems to be able to open them, never mind)- AnacletusWhip
